4th
Degree
Any Third Degree member in good standing, one year
after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership
in the Fourth Degree. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is
to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship
and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through
active membership in local Fourth Degree groups (called "assemblies").
Certain members of the Fourth Degree serve as honor guards at civic
and religious functions, an activity that has brought worldwide
recognition to the Knights of Columbus. The Fourth
Degree for the Father Judge Council is Rich Fitzgerald.
You can reach him at 631-368-7584.
Columbiettes
The Columbiettes are a unified body of Catholic women who work side-by-side with
the Knights of Columbus to promote the ideals
of Columbianism. The Father Thomas A. Judge Columbiettes
were founded in October 1993. Our meetings are held on the
third Thursday of the month starting at 7:30 p.m. Our
dues are presently $15.00 per year. Membership
is open to Catholic women over 18. The benefits of membership are
many, spiritual, social, educational and moral. We
are a volunteer and fraternal order that makes charitable
contributions and performs many diverse services for and to the
community. Some of the organizations and
charitable works supported by the Father Thomas A. Judge
Columbiettes are: 3-D Transcription for the Blind Program;
Birthright; St. Joseph's Guest Home; Pennies for Priests; and
Nickels for Nuns.
The
Columbiette emblem that you see above is a blue circle
representing the world. The rays emanating from the cross
represent our zeal to serve God through the mediums of faith,
hope and charity, symbolized by three white stars underneath the
cross. If you are interested in becoming a
member visit the Columbiettes page.

Squires
Under the guidance of Christian Brother Barnabas McDonald
(1865-1929), the first Columbian Squires circle was instituted in
1925. Membership in the Squires is for Catholic boys between the
ages of 12 and 17. Squires' activities are many, varying from spiritual
to active service for the Church and community. Each circle elects
officer members from their own rank, teaching skills of leadership
and responsibility. Squires are organized into circles each with
their own name and number. In our
Council, we have Brother Dawson
Circle Number 3047. This
circle is very active under the leadership
of Chief Squire John Cornetta and Prior Father Rudy Pesongco
For more about the Squires, visit their
page or call Chief Squire John
Cornetta at 631-368-6937.

The
Little Knights is open to
boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 12. They
gather on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 12 Noon

parents are welcome to participate with their children. For
